The problem
Your Red Tractor auditor flags something the DEFRA guidance never mentioned. A pEPR return lands with a form that reads like it was written for someone else's business. The SFI scheme you signed up for changes its terms mid-agreement, and you hear about it at the market before you hear about it officially.
None of that is your fault, and none of it should be your job to untangle. Most people don't have the afternoon it takes to find the answer — so they guess, or they ask whoever guessed last time, and hope the inspector agrees.

Where it started
Gatepost's shape came out of a real conversation with a UK food distributor — what they actually needed, not a feature list dreamed up in a meeting room.
We're still early. This is the problem we heard, not a finished product.
